Using its industry-respected full attack chain methodology, SE Labs evaluated how effectively leading cyber security products defend against both widespread public threats and highly targeted, sophisticated attacks — a dual challenge that defines the modern threat landscape.
“By including a balanced mix of threat types, these tests provide meaningful insight into how well each product performs across the full spectrum of real-world risk,” said Simon Edwards, Founder and CEO of SE Labs. “The results reveal not only whether a product can block attacks, but how it behaves when confronted by adversaries that are persistent, adaptive, and motivated.”
SE Labs’ Endpoint Security Evaluation Tests reflects the complex and evolving nature of today’s cyber attacks. Products are assessed against the common threats users encounter every day, while also being challenged by purpose-built, evasive attacks designed to bypass traditional defences. This dual-layer approach delivers a realistic view of how solutions perform when it matters most – under genuine attack conditions.
Enterprise Endpoint Security Results
All the products in this test posted excellent results and won AAA awards. The strongest, from Broadcom, Sophos, CrowdStrike, Kaspersky and Microsoft scored 100% Protection Accuracy Ratings by providing protection against all of the threats. Trellix Endpoint Security’s near perfect 99% Total Accuracy Rating also puts it in this category. Other AAA winners who posted Total Accuracy Ratings in the high 90s were SentinelOne, WatchGuard and HarfangLab.

Small Business Endpoint Security Results
This quarter, all of the products tested achieved AAA ratings. The strongest, from Sophos, Microsoft, Kaspersky and Bitdefender scored 100% Protection Accuracy Ratings by blocking all the threats. Webroot SecureAnywhere Endpoint Protection was also awarded an AAA rating because of its 97% Total Accuracy Rating.

Home Anti-Malware Results
The strongest performers, namely Sophos, McAfee, Kaspersky, Norton, Avast and Microsoft win AAA awards for achieving 100% Legitimacy as well as 100% Protection ratings. By achieving Total Accuracy Ratings in the high 90s, products from TotalAV, Scanguard, Webroot and Panda likewise were given AAA ratings.
