SE Labs’ Advanced Security tests evaluate products against full attack chains derived from current threat intelligence. The 20-page technical analysis provides security teams and CISOs with a detailed analysis of how AhnLab EPP/EDR performed against each attack stage and whether it delivers the comprehensive detection and response capabilities security teams require when sophisticated threat groups target their organisations.

AhnLab EPP/EDR demonstrated strong performance across all four critical detection stages in SE Labs’ testing. It successfully alerted on every spear-phishing message and its associated malicious executables, flagged attempts to access system files, directories, and user information, and consistently detected both attacker control of local data and exfiltration via the C2 channel.
It detected every attempt to escalate privileges and post-escalation actions, catching attempts to gain privileges over domain accounts as well as attempts to bypass user account control. The product was also awarded full scores for detecting the attacks as they moved from the target system to the other devices in the network.
