About Level:Up
SE Labs is running its Level:Up security education programme for the second year in a row, partnering with local schools to provide a thorough cybersecurity overview specifically created for key stage 4 and key stage 5 students.
The programme will take place from the 10th to the 14th of July 2023, and will be based at our offices in Wimbledon from 10:00 to 15:00 each day.
The purpose of the Level:Up programme is to provide relevant information to students interested in cybersecurity, or computer science in general. By providing specific learning modules and exercises in line with the industry, students will gain an understanding of what it takes to have a career in cybersecurity.
The programme is open to all, but it is most suitable for students who have chosen Computer Science as a GCSE subject.
Schools cybersecurity training
The goal of the Level:Up programme is to not only provide students with some of the tools necessary to succeed in the cybersecurity industry but to also provide information in line with the requirements of further study.
Students will be exposed to various elements of the Computer Science GCSE specifications from OCR, AQA and Edexcel.
Meet the Team
Solandra Brewster
With a background in teaching, Solandra joined SE Labs in 2020 as a Security Analyst. Throughout the years she has worked in many departments within the company.
Solandra is open to sharing her knowledge about phishing attacks, endpoint protection and networking.
Jeremiah Morgan
Jeremiah was an English language tutor before he joined SE Labs as one of their Advanced Security Testers. Despite having no prior experience, he now knows many of the techniques real hackers use and even creates his own custom scripts!
Jeremiah is happy to share his knowledge about the hacking side of cybersecurity.

If you are interested in applying for this year’s Level:Up programme, you will need to send a cover letter to levelup@selabs.uk, explaining why you would be a suitable candidate for the programme and why you want to partake. The cover letter shouldn’t be longer than one page.
